PRIDE Spring Cleanup, April 5-19

Tired of litter along the road or in a stream or park near your home? Make plans now to clean those spots during the PRIDE Spring Cleanup, which will be held April 5-19. Recruit your friends and neighbors to help. Call your local PRIDE Coordinator to reserve cleanup supplies for your project. While supplies last, volunteers will receive free T-shirts.

PRIDE Environmental Education Grant Recipients in the County (2007 Grant Cycle)

Grant recipients might need help with their environmental education projects from community members. Contact the grant recipient to inquire about volunteer opportunities.

  • Frakes School Center: $4,000 to enhance greenhouse
  • Yellow Creek School Center: $3,000 to buy environmental curriculum
  • Saint Julian Parish School: $3,520 to construct greenhouse
