Grant recipients might need help
with their environmental education projects from community members. Contact
the grant recipient to inquire about volunteer opportunities. (Grant amounts
listed below include $500 to operate a PRIDE
Club.)
Martha Jane Potter Elementary School: $4,000 to build an outdoor
classroom
West Whitesburg Elementary School: $3,930 to create and maintain
an outdoor garden
Letcher County Central High School: $4,000 to enhance an outdoor
classroom and supply water to a greenhouse
