Upper Cumberland River Watershed Watch

PRIDE Environmental Education Grant Recipients in the County (2009 Grant Cycle)

Grant recipients might need help with their environmental education projects from community members. Contact the grant recipient to inquire about volunteer opportunities. (Grant amounts listed below include $500 to operate a PRIDE Club.)

Pine Knot Primary School: $4,000 to start a recycling program and enhance a greenhouse and nature trail
Pine Knot Intermediate School: $3,247 to start a recycling program
McCreary County Extension Service: $3,140 for an environmental camp and bird house materials
