listed below. To volunteer, call McCreary County PRIDE Coordinator Linda

an area that is not on this list.

School Cleanup Activities
PRIDE encourages schools to organize cleanup events for their
students. Due to spring break or testing schedules, these events may be
held outside the Spring Cleanup period. These events are not
open to the public, but they are listed here to recognize
the schools' PRIDE.

Environmental Education Grant Recipients in the County (2007 Grant Cycle) |
Grant recipients might need help
with their environmental education projects from community members. Contact
the grant recipient to inquire about volunteer opportunities.
- Pine Knot Primary School: $5,000 to construct greenhouse
- Pine Knot Intermediate School: $3,000 to construct outdoor
classroom
- McCreary County Extension Service: $2,775 to host environmental
camp
