Envi Awards

Congressman Hal Rogers
Congressman Harold “Hal” Rogers stated that the Envi Awards were a “great opportunity to stop and look back at what PRIDE has accomplished, and to celebrate those things. We have a lot of great people and organizations that are working toward the same goals of a clean environment and personal responsibility in making that happen,” he said.

EPA Administrator Christine Todd Whitman

General James Bickford
Kentucky’s Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Cabinet Secretary James Bickford said he was glad Governor Whitman got the chance to observe PRIDE in action. “I hope we demonstrated some things Governor Whitman can take back with her to Washington, D.C. and use to help communities in other states build the grass roots effort to clean up the environment,” Bickford said.
