Spring is here. That means southern and eastern Kentucky is bursting with redbuds -- and PRIDE.
The PRIDE Spring Cleanup is scheduled for April 8-22. It is time for us all to work together and do our part to clean up.
Spring Cleanup volunteers will be eligible for door prizes. Free T-shirts will be given to volunteers while supplies last.
Want to help with the Spring Cleanup in your community? There are two ways to take part.
- Volunteer for a cleanup event already planned by your local PRIDE Coordinator. To see a list of cleanup events near you, go to the Spring Cleanup web page. Then click on your county on the map.
- If the road or stream you want to clean isn't on the Spring Cleanup schedule, then plan your own cleanup event. To get started, contact your PRIDE Coordinator to request cleanup supplies and trash pick up.
Take pride in your community by volunteering for the PRIDE Spring Cleanup. If we all do our part, we can enjoy a region bursting with PRIDE. |
